Just ended a Bible Study for men that we have every Thursday Night at Prayer House. We are missing some men, iron sharpening iron causes friction, friction causes heat. Same thing happening in the church. People have left for other less “Spirit” driven churches because they don’t like the heat. It’s sad. True salvation comes through repentance, then obedience, repentance allows the Spirit of God to move us to a place where God can move us through a purification process. It isn’t fun for some of us because we don’t like heat. Some enter into it freely. People like me didn’t like the heat. I fought the process and even whined through it. Thank God I didn’t run. Being set on fire is a good thing. I pray for those who seek an easy road. Easy brings complacency. Complacency bears no fruit. But, the Word of God says that in the last days there will be a falling away, because when it gets rough, people will walk. Only those who persevere will overcome and win the prize. Many will say, “Lord, Lord did we not cast demons out in your name? And the Lord will say I never knew you.” I want to burn for Jesus. Do you?
I want to burn for Jesus!
